LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established litigation team looking to add a highly organized and motivated Legal Assistant to their defense practice. This is a great opportunity to play a key role within a collaborative, fast-moving environment while working closely with experienced attorneys.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, format, and manage legal documents and correspondence
- Coordinate filings in state and federal courts
- Maintain case files and track deadlines to ensure timely progression of matters
- Assist with scheduling, client communication, and general case support
- Provide administrative and litigation support across multiple attorneys
Qualifications- 3+ years of legal assistant experience within a civil or commercial litigation practice
- Familiarity with federal and Florida court rules is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
- Experience with billing or accounting systems is a plus
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
