About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established litigation team looking to add a highly organized and motivated Legal Assistant to their defense practice. This is a great opportunity to play a key role within a collaborative, fast-moving environment while working closely with experienced attorneys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, format, and manage legal documents and correspondence
  • Coordinate filings in state and federal courts
  • Maintain case files and track deadlines to ensure timely progression of matters
  • Assist with scheduling, client communication, and general case support
  • Provide administrative and litigation support across multiple attorneys
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of legal assistant experience within a civil or commercial litigation practice
  • Familiarity with federal and Florida court rules is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
  • Experience with billing or accounting systems is a plus
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
