About the Role

Job Description

As a Field Service Technician II here at Honeywell, you will provide essential technical support and service for HVAC, fire alarm, and access control systems. You will apply your basic troubleshooting skills and low-voltage experience to maintain and repair critical building systems, ensuring safety and operational efficiency for our customers.

You will report directly to our Service Manager and you'll work out of our local Honeywell customer facility in Albany, NY.

In this role, you will impact the safety, comfort, and security of our customers' environments by delivering reliable service and maintenance for vital building control systems.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, fire alarm, and access control systems.
  • Utilize basic control and low-voltage skills to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements during all service activities.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 1 or more years of experience in field service with a focus on HVAC or fire alarm, or access control systems OR Technical diploma or degree in a related field.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with basic control systems and their operation.
  • Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions accurately.
