About the Role

Job Description
As a HVAC Union Fitter Journeyman here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise for our HVAC systems. With your CFC certification and 5 years of experience in the field you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of HVAC systems for our customers. In this role, you will have a significant impact on our HVAC business unit by providing field support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Your expertise in HVAC systems and your ability to effectively communicate with customers will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships.
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor and will travel to designated local customers in the Emporia, VA area. You will be assigned a Company van including all needed tools, a fleet card for fuel and repairs, and a phone and a laptop for business use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support and expertise for HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of HVAC systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Shift: 7:30am to 3:30pm
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA Universal certification
  • 5 years of experience as an HVAC Journeyman, servicing commercial equipment including boilers (oil and gas, hot water and steam), chillers, pumps, air handlers, package rooftop units and air compressors
  • Membership of the UA Local 10 or willingness to join
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license with driving record acceptable to Honeywell

Pay Range: Determined by the CBA/rate sheet of $40.00 hourly. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
