Under the supervision of the Public Works Superintendent, this position serves as the primary/lead operator for the City's Water and Wastewater systems and is responsible for the City's day-to-day water plant operation and quality compliance testing programs.Duties may also include performing assigned work for various operations, maintenance and construction projects of the Public Works Department including: street and drainage system construction and maintenance, maintenance and operations, storm water system maintenance and compliance, parks maintenance, operation of heavy equipment and right-of-way management.
