Our UT Health Tyler hospital is seeking an experienced Audiologist.  We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in our Ears, Nose, and Throat Clinic where you will be responsible for:
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Works to assess the hearing needs of adult and pediatric patients. Provides care for patients in outpatient setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians.
  • Obtain and document case histories of patients.
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing of patients from infancy to geriatric population.
  • Hearing aid dispensing with cutting-edge technology and fitting/follow up care.
  • In house repair and/or cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Counseling patients/family members and coordination of patient care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Vestibular assessments (ABR’s, VNG’s, etc.).
  • Knowledge of assistive listening devise, musician, Hunter and swim plugs
  • Interpret test results/dictate reports for EMR.

So what experience are we looking for in our Audiologist Position?
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the field preferred.
  • AU.D. or Master’s Degree
  • Active Texas License
