NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Scrum Master - Healthcare to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

Scrum Master

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates all Scrum related ceremonies with respect to post-production validation activities
  • Supports and works with the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Provides all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
  • Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Guides the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
  • Assesses the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Removes impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
  • Facilitates getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating work.
  • Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years overall IT experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in health care payer application testing
  • First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Scrum Master for a production support team that has applied Scrum principles, practices, and theory
  • Knowledge of techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Must have worked on Azure DevOps Services for Scrum Implementations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Nice to have:

  • Graduate Degree
  • Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II)
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Exposure to concepts of test automation, software monitoring

Travel:on-site position in Louisville, KY; remote work not an option for this position

Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
