NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Scrum Master to join our team in Durham, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

NTT Data is experiencing unprecedented growth as many of our healthcare payer clients are dealing with the technology challenges necessary to stay competitive. Join us and be part of the innovative solutions team for one of NTT Data's largest accounts in the Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) group in Durham, NC.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

• Work as a Scrum Master in a hybrid scrum/traditional SDLC environment
• Knowledge and practice of traditional scrum ceremonies
• Prioritize backlog items driven by date relationships, deadlines & regulatory requirements as opposed to business driven value added features
• Lead by example and be a team player
• Manage multiple medium to large-sized projects or a single highly complex project
• Interactive extensively with senior leadership within the customer
• Determine and coordinate the sharing of leveraged resources among projects
• Define and implement project and program management standards and processes within NTT DATA and across client engagements
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations for agile and project management process improvements

Basic qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, ideally in the healthcare insurance industry, generated through work with one or more of the following:
  • Major consulting firm with a healthcare insurance industry focus
  • Mid to large healthcare insurance company where you were responsible for the initiation, planning and execution of QAT strategies
• Scrum Master Certification
• Advanced understanding of IT Project Management principles and techniques
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company's project management information system.
• Minimum of 5 years experience having the ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans.
• Minimum of 5 years experience having the ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance.
• Minimum of 5 years experience having the capability at providing effective performance reporting for the customer and company in order to monitor the progress of the project.
• Familiarity with system life cycle processes from ideation through delivery.
