NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Helpdesk Senior Associate (REMOTE POSITION) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
This position is for night shift - 23:00 CST till 7:00 CST
THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION
Basic Qualifications;
- 3 years experience in Red Hat Linux Administration
- 3 years experience with VMware Tech
- 3 years experience on Windows Servers
Responsibilities;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for monitoring / owning incidents, addressing user requests/questions and providing a communications channel between other service management functions and the user community
- Monitor all system alerts and assist to resolve complex issues in system hardware and software.
- Administer efficient work of servers and system and provide support to everyday operations.
- Adherence to standardized documentation requirements and procedures.
- Ensures high availability of all systems (24X7), applications, and infrastructure.
- Configure new servers, applications, updates, and develop processes and procedures that fulfill the support of secure systems. Participate in anticipating, mitigating, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues on servers in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Coordination with customers and other stakeholders to obtain required information and facilitate request for change processing. Manages change requests, ensuring changes follow defined process and comply with requirements.
- Represents the changes in CAB meetings to get the changes approved
- Work in a fast-paced environment with ability to turn items around in a quick manner
- Determine support to patch application and timeframe for same and develop appropriate strategies.
