About the Role
Business Execution Senior Consultant
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Execution Senior Consultant for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ, Charlotte, NC, or Minneapolis, MN. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.
This role supports the execution of enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM) and Software License Compliance (SLC) activities. The individual is responsible for license compliance analysis, contract review support, software data quality, and audit readiness. This position operates within the SAM/SLC function, which provides governance, operational execution, and oversight of software assets, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and accuracy of enterprise software data.
Responsibilities:
Perform software license compliance analysis and apply license rules to determine compliance position
Support license reconciliations for strategic and non-strategic vendors
Analyze software contracts and licensing agreements to interpret terms, restrictions, and entitlements
Perform daily research and analysis of software asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Troubleshoot data quality issues across discovery, inventory, and entitlement sources
Utilize ServiceNow and other web-based workflow tools to execute SAM/SLC processes
Assist with internal and external software audits and prepare supporting documentation
Identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings
Requirements:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, Strategic Planning, or Technology experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or software license compliance functions
Working knowledge of software license models, compliance concepts, software contract analysis, and data analysis
Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge and demonstrated experience with Claude, Copilot/Copilot Studio, Gemini, etc.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in software asset management and software license compliance
Experience working with ServiceNow and web-based workflow or reconciliation tools
Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting or managing medium-scale technology efforts within a line of business
Demonstrated analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Certification or formal training in Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or equivalent
Pay range: $51.09 - $59.09 per hour
