As part of Advanced Synthesis (ADS), the Supply Chain & Inventory Lead plays a critical role indriving Supply Chain performance across all ADS sites. This position is accountable for inventory management strategy, KPI definition, performance reporting, and cross-site process improvement. The role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency, optimized inventory levels, and continuous improvement within the ADS Supply Chain organization.

This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. We offer flexibility to work remotely for no more than 20% of your time. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with business needs.

What you will get:

  • An agile career and dynamic working culture.
  • An inclusive and ethical workplace.
  • Compensation programs that recognize high performance.
  • A variety of benefits dependent on role and location.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory
  • Lead platform forums to address cross-site inventory topics (e.g., excess inventory, customer liability)
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for inventory projections, write-offs, and provisions
  • Monitor and analyze Supply Chain KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams to design and streamline Supply Chain processes
  • Conduct regular performance assessments and provide insights and recommendations to ADS senior management
  • Define and implement ADS-wide processes (e.g., inventory reporting for S&OP) and ensure adherence across sites
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in material and inventory management with a strong track record in SC KPI performance improvement
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in matrix organizations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and platforms
  • Fluency in English; German and Chinese are an advantage
  • Ability to adapt global standards to ADS-specific needs with a strong process-focused mindset
