Architect (CAD)

Location: Remote

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their work for UK firms and significant experience with working drawings. This role involves developing detailed architectural designs, producing high-quality working drawings, and ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute architectural design concepts that meet client requirements and project goals.
  • Produce detailed working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project feasibility.
  • Review and assess architectural work completed for UK firms to demonstrate capabilities.
  • Ensure designs comply with local and international building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure designs are being implemented accurately.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients, addressing feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technology advancements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Maintain organized records of design documents, drawings, and project correspondence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Architect with a strong portfolio showcasing work for UK firms.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed working drawings and construction documents.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods.
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
  • Creative and innovative design approach with a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently manage projects.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max).
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with UK building regulations and standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
