4th Grade Teacher
The 4th Grade Teacher at St. Ann Catholic School is responsible for creating a faith-filled, academically rigorous classroom environment that supports the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher integrates Catholic values into daily instruction while delivering a comprehensive curriculum aligned with diocesan and state standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subject areas, including Religion, Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies
Foster a Christ-centered classroom environment that reflects Catholic teachings and values
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate academic records
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding academic and behavioral progress
Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning
Maintain a structured, safe, and respectful classroom environment
Participate in school Masses, prayer services, and religious activities
Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives and student success
Uphold school policies and contribute to the overall mission of the parish and school community
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
Valid state teaching certification (or working toward certification)
Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of the Church
Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Preferred Attributes:
Practicing Catholic or willingness to support Catholic identity of the school
