4th Grade Teacher

The 4th Grade Teacher at St. Ann Catholic School is responsible for creating a faith-filled, academically rigorous classroom environment that supports the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher integrates Catholic values into daily instruction while delivering a comprehensive curriculum aligned with diocesan and state standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subject areas, including Religion, Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies
• Foster a Christ-centered classroom environment that reflects Catholic teachings and values
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
• Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate academic records
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding academic and behavioral progress
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning
• Maintain a structured, safe, and respectful classroom environment
• Participate in school Masses, prayer services, and religious activities
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives and student success
• Uphold school policies and contribute to the overall mission of the parish and school community

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Valid state teaching certification (or working toward certification)
• Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of the Church
• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
