The Opportunity:
You will serve as a pivotal operational leader, driving commercial and industrial concrete projects from preconstruction through final closeout. You will take total ownership of project budgets, schedules, and site execution while partnering directly with field teams and clients. How You Will Make an Impact:
- Manage all phases of high-value commercial and industrial concrete projects to ensure on-time delivery.
- Drive project financial success by meticulously tracking budgets, forecasts, and change orders.
- Partner with field superintendents to sequence manpower, materials, and specialized equipment efficiently.
- Oversee site activities to enforce rigorous quality standards across formwork, pours, and finishing.
- Cultivate strong relationships with general contractors, client representatives, and trade partners.
- Resolve daily field issues proactively to maintain project momentum and safety compliance.
- Mentor junior project staff to foster long-term professional growth and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial concrete construction.
- Direct track record managing project budgets, scheduling, scope execution, and trade partners.
- Proficient with construction management software platforms like Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
- Proven experience with contract negotiations, project buyout, and the management of project budgets from preconstruction through closeout.
- Strong technical background in concrete construction, deep foundations, post-tensioning, slabs, and retaining walls.
- Ability and willingness to travel periodically, typically on a monthly basis, to provide oversight and support for assigned projects based on project needs.
- OSHA 10 Certification
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Specialized expertise in tilt-up wall construction, vertical structures, and structural concrete installations.
