Job Overview
Facility Innovations Group Inc is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to keep the warehouse running accurately and on schedule, coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment that support active construction projects. This role is the day-to-day link between the warehouse floor, project teams, and vendors, ensuring the right materials reach the right site at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping of materials, tools, and equipment for active job sites.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system; perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Schedule and track inbound and outbound deliveries, coordinating with vendors, freight carriers, and project teams to meet site deadlines.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, and process returns, exchanges, or claims as needed.
- Organize warehouse layout and storage areas to maximize space, accessibility, and safety.
- Maintain tool and equipment logs, including checkout/check-in tracking, preventive maintenance schedules, and repair coordination.
- Support month-end and year-end physical inventory counts and audits.
- Enforce safety procedures and housekeeping standards, including proper use of PPE, forklifts, and material-handling equipment.
- Communicate proactively with project managers and superintendents on material availability, shortages, and delivery timing.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including packing slips, delivery tickets, and inventory adjustment records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certification a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics coordination, ideally in construction, facilities, or industrial supply.
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems and basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
- Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with project teams, vendors, and drivers.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable operating a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
- Exposure to varying temperatures in warehouse and outdoor loading areas.
