About the Role
Human Resources Specialist (Staffing & Recruitment)
AvantGarde is seeking experienced professionals to support a potential federal client. The selected candidate will provide human resources support in accordance with federal regulations, client policies, and EOUSA procedures.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Providing advisory support to managers and leadership.
Developing and maintaining required HR documentation.
Utilizing USA Staffing and applicable federal HR systems.
Reviewing work products for quality and compliance.
Responding to customer and applicant inquiries.
Supporting recruitment and outreach efforts.
Ensuring compliance with OPM guidance and federal regulations.
Participating in meetings and providing status updates.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Required qualifications include:
Minimum 3 years of Federal Government HR experience.
Current Delegated Examining Certification preferred/required.
Experience using USA Staffing and USA Hire.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a remote environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 Public Trust.
Work schedule and location: Remote. Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
