You will play a direct role in constructing and maintaining high-quality commercial and industrial electrical systems across the greater Jacksonville area. How You Will Make an Impact:
- Install conduit, wiring, electrical equipment, fixtures, and control systems efficiently.
- Read and accurately interpret complex blueprints, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Execute all electrical installations in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Plan daily work flows, estimate material needs, and complete tasks within designated timelines.
- Direct and mentor junior apprentices on-site to foster crew development and high workmanship standards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with jobsite foremen, superintendents, and secondary trades to keep projects on schedule.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Electrician
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites across the greater Jacksonville area.
- Strong physical capability to handle materials, climb ladders, and execute demanding field installation tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to bend and install EMT and rigid conduit independently.
- Core proficiency in reading blueprints, one-line diagrams, and technical electrical specifications.
- Practical experience working with branch circuits, feeders, lighting controls, and distribution panels.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 or more years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction.
- Journeyman certification or competency card where applicable.
- Deep understanding of commercial electrical control systems and NEC regulations.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
