About the Role
M&A Analyst Remote
A remote opportunity to join a top-tier M&A advisory firm as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst, supporting all phases of the deal process. This full-time role offers immediate exposure to high-volume transactions, close collaboration with senior leadership, and a fast-paced environment focused on financial analysis, business development, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution
Build detailed financial models using OEM statements and third-party data
Draft executive summaries to support M&A engagements
Create financial projections based on macroeconomic and trends
Support due diligence and coordinate with external advisors
Manage client communications and project timelines
Track deal metrics and ensure deadline compliance
Market Intelligence
Analyze industry trends and internal data to gain industry expertise
Draft insight briefs on market conditions, regulations, and competition
Generate CRM reports to identify opportunities and performance gaps
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Experience in M&A, finance, or transaction advisory
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
