Computer Operator - We are hiring!
In Up Talent, we are looking for a Computer Operator for a contract-to-hire role.This is a fully remote role.Pay Rate: $21 - $26/hr.Hours: 3rd shift (11pm - 7am).Education: Possession of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).Experience: 6 months related experience or training or education.Physical Demands: Have the ability to regularly stand, crouch, stoop and walk; including pushing and pulling carts and equipment.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and basic system support manuals.Have the ability to write routine reports and basic procedures.Ability to correspond (written and oral) effectively with internal customers, users and support staff.
Job Summary: Responsibility includes a full range of computer and peripheral equipment necessary to process seismic data by performing the listed duties.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Highly proficient with commands, programs, scripts, advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. IT Operator Software Knowledge: Windows Linux IT Operator Qualifications/Skills: Communication skills. Reporting skills. Productivity. Documentation skills. Problem solving for software and hardware. They also require a working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
