Location Description The Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility proudly produces iconic pet food brands like 9Lives®, Gravy Train®, and Kibbles 'n Bits®. This location also features an on-site Distribution Center, ensuring efficient delivery of products to customers.
Bloomsburg is home to Bloomsburg University, a municipal airport, and a landmark Town Park offering acres of recreational activities. The town also hosts one of the largest and longest-running fairs in the country. With so much to do and see, Bloomsburg is a great place to live, work, and play!

About the Role
As an EHS Coordinator, you'll support and advance environmental, health, and safety programs at our manufacturing facility. You'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and other regulatory standards while helping foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is passionate about making workplaces safer.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate EHS programs across all shifts within the plant
- Ensure compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Lead safety training initiatives, including new employee orientation and accident prevention programs
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate safety audits, meetings, and reporting of safety performance metrics
- Manage safety systems and oversee PPE assessments and programs
- Facilitate life safety drills and ensure proper maintenance of safety systems
- Identify and address environmental risks while supporting compliance and reporting requirements
- Evaluate workplace hazards and implement improvements
- Partner with employees and leaders to continuously improve EHS performance
Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lead initiatives in a team environment
Preferred
- - Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
