About the Role

This role involves handling and processing claims related to FHA mortgage products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage servicing and claims processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process FHA claims according to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Verify the accuracy of claim information, including checking documentation and data input.
  • Collaborate with mortgage servicers, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather required claim information.
  • Ensure timely submission of claims to avoid financial losses.
  • Maintain and update claim files, ensuring all necessary documentation is included and organized.
  • Work closely with the compliance and legal teams to ensure all claims adhere to state and federal regulations.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues in claims processing to appropriate supervisors.
  • Provide regular updates on claim status and resolutions to relevant parties.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in the claims process.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred experience with Cloud Claims, Dara, and Proven BKFS platforms
