AI Automation Engineer
Tort Experts is building an AI-first operating model. The AI Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain agentic systems, internal micro-apps, and AI-powered workflows that automate real business processes across Marketing, Lead Operations, Client Services, Finance, and QA.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who can turn messy operational problems into reliable technical solutions. The work includes using LLMs, APIs, automation, data systems, and modern AI coding tools to improve speed, accuracy, decision quality, and business outcomes.
Availability: Remote, 9am - 5pm ET
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain AI-driven workflows, internal automations, and lightweight internal apps using Python, FastAPI, APIs, webhooks, and modern AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini.
- Design agentic systems that ingest data, reason over inputs, make decisions, and take actions across internal tools and external platforms.
- Create and maintain Claude skills, Claude plugins, scripts, and reusable prompt/workflow assets that improve team productivity and standardize execution.
- Use LLMs for tasks such as data validation, QA support, content analysis, workflow decisioning, summarization, and operational research.
- Build automations and QA flows using Playwright for web forms, workflow validation, lead routing checks, and client criteria enforcement.
- Integrate systems across CRM, LeadsPedia, BigQuery, Supabase, GCP, Slack, and other internal or third-party platforms through APIs, MCP, and webhooks.
- Deploy internal tools and micro-apps using GitHub and Vercel, following good software engineering practices including version control, documentation, maintainability, and testing discipline.
- Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Technology stakeholders to identify high-ROI automation opportunities and convert business needs into practical AI solutions.
- Document workflows, technical decisions, prompts, logic, schemas, and operating procedures in markdown and related formats so systems remain understandable and maintainable.
