About the Role
Portfolio Manager
Client: McKesson Corporation Location: Dallas, TX (100% remote) Max Rate: $110 Duration: through 3/31/25 but should extend beyond No Sub tiers candidates. We need a Portfolio Manager with vast experience and has executive presence. The responsibilities include:
Drive portfolio prioritization meetings with cross functional partners and influence across teams to achieve the strategy and business goals.
Lead and facilitate creation of baseline financials for initiatives in partnership with delivery leads, ensuring clarity and alignment with key stakeholders.
Monitor and track the portfolio health, progress and interdependencies with other teams.
Drive connectivity between delivery teams, finance partners and other portfolio leads, influencing decisions to achieve strategic outcomes.
Establish and facilitate regular portfolio reviews to ensure visibility to execution progress, financials, capacity challenges, project risks and outcomes/value.
Ensure accuracy of portfolio information within the portfolio tool
Drive adoption of the portfolio tool with assigned teams, by providing communication and support on processes and expectations.
Understand capacity constraints across the delivery teams, drive visibility and facilitate alignment of priorities and trade-offs needed.
Provide aggregate reporting on CAP initiatives health and prepare information for executive presentations in a digestible and crisp format.
Establish structure, clarity and connect the dots across multiple teams, while employing standard ways of working with other portfolio leads.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
