About the Role

Senior Biostatistician

As a Senior Biostatistician I at ICON, you will design and analyze clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contribute to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What You Will Do:

You will lead on biostatistics tasks requiring technical depth, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Functional lead of multiple low/moderate complexity studies, and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Problem Solving: Anticipate and solve problems which leverages technical expertise and knowledge of precedents.
  • Impact: Establish approach and lead resources to achieve operational and strategic plans. Impact is focused on medium-term goals. Work is done independently, assessed at critical points.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Adapt style and use persuasion in delivering messages. Issues may be complex, audience perspectives may be divergent, and information may be non-routine in nature.

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in biostatistics, with the experience to work independently and guide others. Required qualifications and experience:

  • Master's degree or Ph.D in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field with 5 or more years of biostatistical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience, late development, submission experience including SCE/SCS, R/SAS programming
  • Strong knowledge of multiple statistical and therapeutic areas, the drug development process, and statistical programming practices and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
