Regional Director, Outreach & Partner Engagement
Location: Bay Area, CA
Salary Pay Range and Other Compensation: $87,923 - $118,690 annually
Remote (California) | Frequent travel up to 30%
Position Summary
We are seeking a Regional Director, Outreach & PartnerEngagement to lead strategic partnership development, community outreach initiatives, and workforce education engagement across the Bay Area region. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth through industry partnerships, employer engagement, workforce development initiatives, and educational collaborations. The Director will oversee a team of Outreach Specialists and serve as a key business development resource, fostering relationships with corporate, healthcare, government, military, education, and community organizations.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with extensive experience building partnerships, managing outreach teams, and developing workforce-focused educational solutions. This individual will collaborate across multiple departments to increase brand awareness, support enrollment growth, and address current and future workforce education needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic industry and community partnerships to drive revenue across multiple business lines.
- Engage senior executives in strategic discussions to establish new partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry leaders to identify workforce needs and align educational offerings and training solutions.
- Lead and develop a team of Outreach Specialists responsible for generating and activating educational partnerships through presentations, meetings, and business development activities.
- Coordinate growth opportunities with existing and prospective educational partners, regional organizations, and national accounts.
- Plan and manage recruitment and engagement activities including webinars, education fairs, trade shows, conferences, networking events, and information sessions.
- Standardize documentation, tracking, and return-on-investment analysis of outreach activities using CRM and project management platforms.
- Collaborate with academic and operational departments to maximize partnership effectiveness and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Collect, analyze, interpret, and present reports on performance metrics and key performance indicators to senior leadership.
- Participate in budget planning, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Establish performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while promoting transparency and cross-functional collaboration.
- Identify and cultivate strategic alliances that enhance organizational growth and market position.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Communications, Public Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience developing partnerships and business relationships within regional markets.
- Leadership and people management experience preferred.
- Experience within higher education strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a dynamic, hybrid, technology-driven organization preferred.
- Demonstrated success building strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of workforce development, employer engagement, and educational partnership models.
- Experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders and leading complex business discussions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms, including Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across diverse teams.
