Adjunct Instructor - Healthcare Finance
As an Online Adjunct Faculty member in Healthcare Finance, you will deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in a virtual learning environment. Responsibilities include developing and facilitating engaging course content, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback. You will guide students in applying financial principles to real-world healthcare settings, covering topics such as budgeting, financial analysis, reimbursement systems, and fiscal management within healthcare organizations.
Required Education - All faculty members must provide minimum Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) credential standards which normally include a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline. Transcripts, certificates, and/or license must be submitted with application.
Required Experience - Educational Background: A Master's or Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field is typically required.Professional Experience: Significant experience (usually 3-5 years) in healthcare finance or a related area, such as healthcare administration, financial management, or accounting within healthcare organizations.Teaching Experience: Previous teaching experience in higher education, particularly in healthcare finance or related subjects.Online teaching experience is often specifically required.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS): Experience using online education platforms such as Blackboard, Canvas, or Moodle for course delivery, assessment, and student engagement.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively delivering course content and engaging with students in an online environment.
