About the Role

Contract Recruiter Position

We're seeking a Contract Recruiter position for our North America Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting talent for current and long term needs of the company. You will partner with hiring managers and HR partners from Canada, Puerto Rico and throughout the United States to understand business and staffing needs, provide market intelligence, develop recruiting and sourcing strategies and measure and monitor the quality and cycle time for execution of the recruiting process.

How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you. This position will actively work with managers to design, develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure a robust and highly qualified diverse slate of candidates. They will manage full life cycle recruiting, e.g. recruitment strategy, sourcing, candidate assessment and selection.

• Define hiring needs and determine sourcing strategy.

• Leverage multiple sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of critical talent that can be leveraged as new positions emerge and needs shift.

• Conduct timely and effective strategy sessions with hiring manager.

• Provide regular recruiting, requisition and candidate reporting as well as regularly analyze underutilization in key areas/positions; propose solutions and mitigation actions to address risks.

• Clearly define needs, set expectations and plan for interviews.

• Develop quality and effective job requisition, translating hiring manager needs into effective advertisements.

• Identify proactive and effective sourcing strategies to ensure a diverse slate of candidates, providing regular updates to hiring manager, and/or partnering with HR business partner.

• Create and implement effective passive candidate generation strategies to market our opportunities, attract talent and build communicates that produce a high volume of targeted candidates.

• Execute on tactical outreach, referral generation and pipelining efforts.

• Effectively screen, interview & select candidates.

• Respect the Candidate's time throughout the interview process, including timely candidate follow-up.

• Ability to extract, articulate and effectively represent a candidate's qualifications to hiring teams and other recruiters.

• Apply behavioral interviewing techniques, lead data integration sessions with hiring manager to assist in selection decision.

• Build candidate relationship, articulating the benefits of the role and the organization.

• Initiate and drive job offer process; may present verbal offer and secure verbal acceptance.

• Stay engaged with candidate during post-offer stage.

• Collaborate with and contribute to overall team goals

• Use solid judgment and thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

Qualifications - External

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

• Minimum 2 years strategic sourcing experience, managing the full life cycle recruiting from requisition to offer

• Strong background in sourcing and closing a variety of Finance (tax recruiting experience helpful) professionals

• Strong background in developing and executing effective diversity sourcing strategies

• Proven pipelining skills

• Demonstrated consulting skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Experience with TALEO and Workday preferred.

• Has an in-depth understanding of behavioral interviewing skills and candidate evaluation techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Utilize independent judgment and discretion in the delivery of recruitment services.

• Demonstrable passion to bring amazing people into the company

• Ability to work well in a matrix management structure (e.g., multiple decision-making leaders/organizations).

• Self-motivated, confident and able to work effectively with little supervision; takes initiative, makes things happen, and has a 'can do' attitude

Location: Ideally, this contract position would be located in Indianapolis, IN or Des Moines, IA. For exemplary candidates we would consider virtual locations.
