We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytically curious Finance (Fp&A) Intern to join our finance team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis activities that drive strategic decision-making. You'll partner closely with finance and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze data, build reports, and contribute to key financial processes. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, comfortable working with data, and motivated to build a foundation in corporate finance within a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and insights
  • Help build and maintain financial models and reporting dashboards (e.g., excel)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to collect and validate financial inputs
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives and leadership requests
  • Assist in improving reporting processes and documentation for efficiency and accuracy
Who You'll Bring:
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Familiarity with financial systems or data tools (e.g., power bi, sql, or similar) is a plus
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • Strong academic performance (preferred gpa of 3.0 or higher)
  • Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or data analysis (preferred)
  • Experience working with excel or other data analysis tools (required)

Reports to: director, fp&a

Key partners: finance, accounting, business operations

Work environment

This role operates in a remote environment aligned with ehealth's virtual work model, with no travel expectations.
