Location – Remote Duration – Fulltime Role Must Have Technical/Functional Skill
Experience: Usually 10+ years in SAP FICO with multiple full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations.
Functional Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of S/4HANA Finance capabilities and integration scenarios.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business issues and design innovative solutions.
Communication: Strong influencing skills to align stakeholders on a shared architectural vision.
+15 years of experience in a financial environment and at least 10 years in large SAP project implementations.
Proven experience as a SAP FICO Solution Architect with in depth knowledge of SAP FICO solution portfolio, including the latest evolutions in S/4HANA:
Excellent understanding of internal and external accounting.
Very good understanding of financial processes and interaction with other operational processes within a business.
Thorough knowledge of Finance & Controlling SAP modules (New GL, AA, AP, AR, CCA, PC, PS,....).
Knowledge of interaction between FICO and other modules as MM, SD, PP, ...
Able to analyze and solve issues in standard customization or specific SAP programs (ABAP
Roles & Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Strategy: Develop comprehensive FICO solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and functional specifications for global rollouts.
System Configuration: Expert-level configuration of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and CO-PA.
Architecture Governance: Define best practices, maintain global templates, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Integration Oversight: Ensure seamless integration of FICO with other modules (MM, SD, PP, BW, FSCM) and external systems.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements and advise on best-practice business processes.
Leadership & Coaching: Act as a Design Authority, coaching junior consultants, and overseeing development teams (ABAP/RICEFW).
Migration & Optimization: Lead ECC to S/4HANA conversion or Central Finance (cFIN) implementation projects.
