Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Boston, MA, Charlotte, NC, Las Colinas, TX or Chandler, AZ. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.
This is a firewall engineering role focusing on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in either Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls, a deep understanding of network protocols, and experience working within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a technical engineering position, not a firewall policy role.
Responsibilities: - Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables
- Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables
- Collaborate with internal personnel in Information Security Engineering
Requirements: - 4 years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls
- Strong understanding of network protocols and routing
- Experience working for a large company
Desired skills: Pay range: $51.56 - $59.56 per hour
