About the Role
Job Title
This is a remote position. Job Summary – The customer service specialist is responsible for supporting Community Health Workers (CHWs) with administrative functions, including inbound/outbound calls to members with the goal of updating member information and scheduling an onsite visit with CHWs. Must become an expert scheduler and provide a stellar member experience.
Job Duties
Making outbound calls to identified members to schedule at home visits, ensure the members have necessary information regarding their profile and clear on what to expect upon CHW arrival.
Validate that member insurance is active in addition to updating address, phone number and other information as necessary.
Maintain knowledge base of resources available within the community in your geographic area you serve.
Participate in special administrative projects in order to support the team.
Report updates verbally and in written form to team.
A desire to create a one-of-a-kind member experience and drive to be part of building something new
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
College degree preferred but not required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in either a volunteer or paid position working in community setting with at risk populations providing a coordinator of services is a must
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines, detail oriented and exercise good judgement.
Above average organizational skills, good listener, and team player.
Must be comfortable dealing with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
Above average computer skills specifically Microsoft Office Suite and learning new databases.
Positive and encouraging personality.
Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to team's success.
Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline driven work environment
Hours: TBD Starting pay: $35,000 to $40,000 plus discretionary incentives
