Responsibilities:

  • Act as ABB's lead technical expert for DCS solutions in the Life Sciences sector and provide technical sales support and domain-specific guidance to business development and proposal teams.
  • Ensure technical excellence and customer satisfaction, contributing to the growth and competitiveness of the Life Sciences Automation segment.

  • Conduct internal and external training sessions to disseminate Life Sciences automation knowledge across ABB.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical), or Biomedical Science; MSc preferred.
  • 15+ years in Pharma/Biotech automation, or EPC project business with ≥ 5 years P&L or segment leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience with Distributed Control Systems.
  • Extensive automation/domain knowhow in long-cycle, largescale life sciences projects with proven oversight of substantial execution backlogs and value creation track record.
  • Experience with ABB's DCS is a plus—experience with other DCS products (Emerson, Siemens) and PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) is also beneficial.
  • Deep expertise in cGMP, FDA/EMA, GAMP 5, Data Integrity, ISA95, ISA88.
  • Strong knowledge of ISA-88 / S88 batch architecture and recipe configuration.

We empower you to take the lead, share bold ideas, and shape real outcomes. You'll grow through hands-on experience, mentorship, and learning that fits your goals. Here, your work doesn't just matter, it moves things forward.

What's in it for you
