About the Role
Lead and manage data migration projects within the financial services sector, ensuring seamless transfer of data between systems.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies related to data migration activities.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, data architects, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and migration scope.
Oversee data validation, cleansing, and testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy post-migration.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance policies throughout the migration process.
Provide regular status updates, reports, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data migration methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
5+ years of project management experience focused on data migration projects in the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of data migration tools, techniques, and best practices.
Understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and data governance principles.
Experience managing cross-functional teams including technical and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
