About the Role
Masters In Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program
The Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Franklin Pierce University seeks a full-time core faculty member.The successful candidate will maintain a teaching load, engage students in an online learning environment, maintain office hours, serve as a student advisor, and will be required to participate in yearly on-campus intensives with students.Core faculty members will need to retain a professional identity as a counselor by engaging in the professional counseling community via professional organization membership, conference attendance, research, and/or other professional involvement opportunities.
This is primarily a remote position, though core faculty members are required to participate in the annual intensive sessions with students held on the Rindge, NH campus.
Position Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in counselor education, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program. ABD will be considered; all degree requirements must be met prior to start date.
A minimum of two years experience as a practicing clinical mental health counselor.
A preferred minimum of two years experience in CMHC education; record of excellence in teaching
A record of professional and community service; involvement with the CMHC community via professional membership and service.
Licensed or license-eligible within the State of New Hampshire and/or state of residence.
Demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching and clinical supervision, including proficiency in residential and online instructional technology.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple responsibilities.
