The University of Cincinnati, College of Engineering and Applied Science invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in biomedical engineering, engineering education, or biomedical engineering education with demonstrated experience in conducting research in engineering education with a focus on biomedical engineering, including teaching and learning in biomedical engineering contexts, curriculum development, student learning, or engineering workforce preparation.The incumbent will conduct research and/or analyze research data and ensure that all research needs are appropriately met following the policies and procedures of the University of Cincinnati.
The position is for two (2) years with the possibility for extension based on qualifications, and performance on the project(s).Remote work arrangements may be available and/or subject to change in accordance with university policies.
Essential Functions:
Minimum Requirements:
The position requires a Ph.D. (prior to effective date of appointment) in biomedical engineering, engineering education, or biomedical engineering education with demonstrated experience in biomedical engineering education contexts. Required Experience The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of curriculum development and workshop facilitation in higher education spaces, as well as experience in asset-based and community-based research approaches. The candidates will also have demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative research.
