About the Role

Software Implementation Consultant

As a Software Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for leading procurement & finance technology implementation projects. In this role you will be heavily involved in client facing workshops to help define their requirements by proposing best practices in procurement, financial processes and technology utilization. This is your chance to bring your passion for solving problems to a fast-growing, dynamic, innovative team. Our global consultants analyze, configure and deploy procurement and finance technologies that allow companies across the world to realize significant improvements to their Procurement and Finance functions.

Day to Day You Will

  • Be an individual contributor able to play several roles on a project implementation team from Consultant, Project Manager, Trainer, and/or Subject Matter Expert, as needed, to ensure a project's success
  • Lead process improvement initiatives around procurement and finance best practices, technology utilization, business process design, and leading methodologies
  • Provide business leadership to define, document, and articulate solutions to complex modeling problems
  • Work with client stakeholders to identify business requirements
  • Develop and maintain project plan and schedule with the client and project team
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to client stakeholders including senior executives
  • Fully document approach, data sources, configurations, assumptions, and constraints
  • Contribute to thought leadership by developing delivery methodology, white papers, and best practices
  • Assist in the sales process by demonstrating capabilities to potential clients, supporting project definition and approach, contributing to the development of SOWs and proposals and delivering focused pilot projects and proof of concept models
  • Expert with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Travel could reach up to 50%

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Prior implementation, consulting and/or project management experience required
  • At least 6 years' experience in procurement, finance and/or technology solutions
  • Domain experience in some of the following: project management, technology implementations, contract management, supplier management, procurement, AP automation, strategic sourcing, change management, user training, training development and/or procurement operations (fulfillment)
  • Proven record of supporting and/or managing the implementation of improvement projects or technologies relating to the source to pay process
  • Adaptive to change, having comfort in fast-changing work environment
  • Provide structured and creative analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Define and carry out project plans and modeling architecture with minimal supervision
  • Articulate key messages clearly and explain concepts to end users, stakeholders and executive level audiences
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication (including presentation) skills are required
