About the Role
Our client islooking for Electrical Engineer interested in developing next-generation vehicle systems. In this position, you would be supporting design/development for product/electrical systems and architectures. You'd work on a variety of projects, including sustaining design projects, new development programs, new product design,s and employing innovation skills to mature ideas for concept development. It will include the design of specific parts and systems in assigned phases of projects, applying standard engineering techniques with a degree of supervision varying with experience.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer-Integration
Apply knowledge of electrical systems and components to design and implementation of truck systems and components.
Coordinates and completes projects and design efforts with other engineering groups and departments within the Company.
Assigns, approves, performs, or delegates design modifications as appropriate.
Identifies and initiates designs of a complex nature. Directs and conducts necessary research
Completes design projects and manufacturing process changes from planning, calculation, and design analysis, design, testing, evaluation, and implementation necessary for successful completion.
Prepares engineering activity status reports and other detailed reporting as directed.
Identifies, prioritizes, and coordinates resolution of production, production control, and Quality Assurance issues as appropriate.
Qualifications of the Electrical Engineer-Integration
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
1+ years of experience with similar projects (intern/co-op experience acceptable).
Previous design experience of parts and assemblies will be given preference.
Knowledge of and/or experience in heavy truck assembly, heavy truck components, or similar systems preferred.
Experience developing vehicle systems a plus.
Experience using Pro-E and/or Mentor Graphics (preferred involvement in EcoCar and SAE)
Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, take initiative, be a team player, problem-solver, professional and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent interpersonal skills are required, as you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team.
Compensation of the Electrical Engineer-Integration Salary Range- $70,000-87,000/year, plus bonus and benefits
