About the Role
Catering Staff (Part Time / Seasonal)
River Valley Catering - the sister company of West Wind Supper Club, is looking for part-time event staff to help join our staff for our busy wedding season!
Our catering staff is required to work a minimum of three events per month and has Friday-Sunday availability.
Catering event staff duties include the following:
Handle light food prep such as appetizers, salads, desserts & late night snacks.
Bringing food from the kitchen prep area to the guests at their seats during dinner service.
Set place settings/maintaining water service & removal of such after the event is closed.
Butler passed appetizers/assisting guests with knowledge of the food when asked.
Working with a team of staff to set up for the event and takedown.
Clean/put away dishes used at the end of the evening as a team.
With a valid driver's license, drive yourself and the event staff & all equipment to the venue/site.
It's a fast, upbeat environment with lots of perks such as working with a great team, one meal provided on our dime during your shift, a discount to West Wind Supper Club & great pay!
Shifts:
Most Friday & Saturdays with occasional Sundays each month.
7-9 hours on average (includes travel time to-from the events). Event times range, but can expect a typical shift to fall between 2pm-10p.
Available through the end of October.
Requirements:
Available a minimum of three events a month- Friday - Sunday availability required. Shifts would be determined three weeks in advance.
Provide a valid driver's license.
Report to River Falls, WI.
Able to bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Be able to stand for long periods & provide service at a fast pace.
Possess an upbeat, positive attitude.
Work well with a team.
