Responsibilities:
Own and drive internal technology coordination efforts to ensure crisp and consistent messaging grounded in physics and credible organizational education across varied teams and geos
Lead the creation of x-ray metrology roadmaps aligned with semiconductor node scaling, new materials, and emerging device architectures supporting final decision making by the Division Steering Committee
Articulate a strategic vision for growth, scope, and expanded influence of Rigaku Technology Centers
Represent Rigaku as a technical thought leader as part of external collaborations, conferences, and publications
Assess competitive technology and identify differentiation opportunities.
Drive accountability from internal teams aligned with pre-agreed strategies and approved program goals
Mentor engineers, sales/account managers, and field service teams on advanced technology topics.
Author technical documentation, white papers, and internal knowledge assets
Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or pertinent Engineering Discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
Minimum of 15 years of semiconductor metrology experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Principal Engineer or Engineering Manager Role
Expertise in x-ray fluorescence, diffraction, scattering, and imaging technologies
