About the Role
Project & Product Management (Retail)
Location: Remote Long Term Contract
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
12+ years of progressive experience in technology project delivery, program management, or product management roles.
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a complex, multi-domain technology environment.
Deep expertise in agile and hybrid delivery methodologies; PMP / Scrum certifications highly desirable.
Demonstrated success delivering enterprise technology programs across ERP, eCommerce, or supply chain domains.
Strong command of product management practices including roadmapping, backlog management, and stakeholder prioritization.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels — from development teams to senior executives.
Experience in retail or consumer products industries is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with platforms such as NetSuite, Elastic Path, Amplience, Snowflake, or AWS is a plus.

Product exposure across non-ecommerce systems, including:
WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
Merchant planning systems
NetSuite ERP OR other ERP systems
Order processing / financial systems
Required understanding of:
Supply chain lifecycle (PO creation → fulfillment → delivery)
Inventory flows and timelines
Alternative fulfillment methods (e.g., dropship vendors)
Not responsible for selecting or implementing new systems, but must understand how they function and integrate
Strong hands-on project management experience (not program/PMO-focused but can have that experience)
Experience managing both large-scale initiatives and smaller parallel workstreams
Background in retail / ecommerce across multiple areas (not an evangelist in one), could be across merchandising, Assortment planning, Pricing, Operational/backend systems (not just storefront)
Experience working with:
ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
Supply chain / fulfillment workflows (PO → delivery lifecycle)
WMS and merchant planning systems
composable architecture environments
Exposure to retail store systems (POS not required)
Strong understanding of project management methodology (PMI-based preferred)
Experience operating in hybrid Agile + Waterfall environments
Ability to drive predictable delivery timelines and enforce rigor
Comfortable as an IC/doer, owning execution (70% project / 30% product)
Practical experience applying AI in project delivery workflows (not just conceptual)
