About the Role

Your Strengths

• You are a natural translator. You take complex systems, workflows, and technical concepts and turn them into clear, meaningful solutions for others.

• You lead with curiosity. You ask thoughtful questions to understand how school districts operate-and why they do things the way they do.

• You are both technical and relational. You're comfortable discussing integrations, data flows, and system requirements, while also building trust with educators and administrators.

• You are a compelling storyteller. You don't just demo features-you connect the product to real outcomes that matter to schools.

• You thrive in partnership. You work closely with sales, product, and customer success to ensure every solution is thoughtful, realistic, and aligned.

• You care about the mission. You understand that helping districts choose the right solution ultimately supports educators and students.

What You'll Do

Prospect Engagement & Discovery

• Partner with Sales to understand prospect needs, goals, and technical environments.

• Lead discovery conversations to uncover workflows, challenges, and system requirements within school districts.

• Help shape the solution approach by aligning Red Rover's capabilities with customer priorities.

Solution Demonstrations & Presentations

• Deliver engaging, customized product demonstrations for K-12 stakeholders including administrators, HR leaders, and IT teams.

• Tailor demos to reflect each district's workflows, systems, and goals.

• Lead presentations, workshops, webinars, and conference sessions that clearly communicate Red Rover's value.

Solution Design & Technical Guidance

• Provide guidance on system configuration, integrations, and compatibility within district IT ecosystems.

• Explain how Red Rover integrates with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and other third-party tools.

• Address technical questions with clarity and confidence, ensuring prospects understand how solutions will work in practice.

Sales Support & Deal Enablement

• Support RFP and RFI responses, proposals, and technical documentation.

• Partner with Sales on deal strategy, helping position the solution effectively in competitive situations.

• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, ensuring alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure solution accuracy and feasibility.

• Share insights from the field to help guide product improvements and roadmap priorities.

• Help ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation by setting clear expectations.

Continuous Learning & Market Insight

• Stay informed on trends in K-12 education, HR systems, and EdTech.

• Continuously deepen your knowledge of Red Rover's products, integrations, and use cases.

• Bring back insights from customers and prospects to strengthen messaging and positioning.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Experience in presales, solution consulting, or a similar customer-facing role, ideally within SaaS or education technology.

• Strong understanding of K-12 school district operations and the challenges faced by administrators and educators.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

• Technical aptitude, including familiarity with system integrations, data flows, and software configuration concepts.

• Experience with product demos, RFP responses, and consultative selling approaches.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, presentations, and events.

Why This Role Matters

• Choosing the right technology is a critical decision for school districts-and it often starts with how well they understand the solution.

As a Solutions Consultant, you play a key role in that moment. You help districts see not just what our product does, but how it fits into their world-how it solves real problems and improves the way they support educators.

Your ability to connect needs with solutions helps ensure schools make confident decisions-and ultimately helps Red Rover deliver on its mission to simplify the lives of education professionals.
