Banking Team 1 - Paris Interns

We are looking for interns from July to December (6 months) within our Banking and Finance department, particularly in transport financing (aeronautics, maritime, railway, infrastructure), structured financing (corporate, banking and bond financing), international export project financing (particularly in Europe, Africa, North America and Asia), development and project financing (mainly in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors), and raw materials financing.

Our Banking and Finance department advises banks and financial institutions, traders, large companies, airlines, shipowners, and export credit agencies in their operations in France and internationally.

We assist these actors in the structuring and implementation of financing in various fields.

Our Banking and Finance team offers a full range of services in French and English law.

Missions

• Perform legal research on issues encountered in the structuring and execution of operations in which we intervene or on current issues;
• Write legal consultations and analysis notes;
• Participate in the drafting and review of contracts (financing documentation, security documents or legal opinions), in French and English;
• Participate in negotiation meetings;
• Collect and analyze documents to be submitted as suspensive conditions;
• Perform administrative procedures with authorities (civil aviation, customs, etc.) and the registry (registration of securities);
• Coordinate teams from our Norton Rose Fulbright offices abroad and local correspondents in the context of our cross-border cases; and
• More generally, participate in the realization and daily management of cases.

As an intern, you will be an integral part of the teams that are committed to your training. You will be able to attend regular team meetings and the internal training program and generally benefit from all the knowledge resources of the firm. Inter-intern and intern-colleague events are organized by the firm to encourage the sharing of experience and exchange.

Profile

• You are a student at the School of Bar Training (or preparing for the entrance exam) or a holder (or in course) of a third cycle in business law (master and/or DJCE), complemented if necessary by a double degree (business school, IEP, Anglo-Saxon university).
• You have ideally acquired initial experience in a stage, within a French or international law firm of comparable size.
• You have solid knowledge in contract law, security law, banking and financial law, corporate law and international law.
• You have perfect command of English, both written and spoken.
• With good interpersonal skills, you are motivated, curious, adaptable and have a taste for teamwork.
