Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Georgia

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual services to K-12 students in Georgia schools. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about supporting students with visual impairments and helping them succeed academically and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual instructional services to students with visual impairments
• Develop and implement individualized educational strategies and accommodations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
• Support students with assistive technology and accessibility tools
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
• Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or related field
• Active Georgia certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience working with students with visual impairments
• Comfortable with virtual platforms and technology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
