Responsibilities:
- Act as the financial advisor to plant leadership
- Help leadership understand: Profitability, Costs, Risks, Opportunities
- Produce financial reports: Income statement, Balance sheet, Performance reports
- Ensure proper financial controls (prevent fraud/errors)
- Develop and manage annual budgets and ongoing forecasts
- Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overhead
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience in a publicly traded company environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CMA certification
- Background in cost accounting or plant finance
- Public accounting experience
