Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical installations for various construction projects, particularly in the energy transition, industrial, and utility sectors. You will work together with an (internaland/or external) team of architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that the electrical systems meet the required safety, functionality, and sustainability standards. You will take into account the applicable laws and regulations and ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and calculating electrical installations, including lighting, grounding, distribution, cabling, and emergency power for buildings and industrial projects.
- Creating technical drawings and schematics for electrical systems.
- Coordinating with other disciplines (such as mechanical engineering and civil engineering) for integrated solutions.
- Providing specifications and technical documentation for tenders and procurements.
- Occasionally checking the installer's execution of the installations to ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements.
- Ensuring the proper testing and commissioning of installations during project completion.
- Solving technical issues and providing support to the execution.

Qualifications:
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university education (WO) in Electrical Engineering or a similar study.
- Experience in designing electrical installations (minimum 2-3 years).
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, such as IEC and NEN standards and other relevant guidelines.
- Skilled in using design software such as Intelec, Dialux, or similar tools. Knowledge of Revit and STABU (floor plans) is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate within your own team and a multidisciplinary project team.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language.
- Proactive, problem-solving, and results-oriented.
