Job Opportunity
Join our mechatronics department responsible for the development, analysis, and optimization of kite control-command systems. You will participate in the design of control algorithms, the modeling of dynamic systems, and the implementation of software and hardware prototypes. This role involves collaborative work with automation engineers, developers, kite designers, and mechanical design engineers.
Main duties include:
- Modeling dynamic systems and contributing to the development of control laws.
- Designing, analyzing, and testing control algorithms.
- Developing simulation and validation tools in Python and/or MATLAB.
- Participating in the development in C++ (basics required) for the integration of algorithms into embedded or real-time systems.
- Contributing to performance analysis and the improvement of existing solutions.
- Writing technical documentation and test reports.
- Participating in technical reviews and exchanges with system, software, and hardware teams.
Profile: Student in an engineering school or master's program specializing in automatics, control systems, mechatronics, or related fields. Motivation for applied engineering, scientific rigor, analytical skills. Ability to work in a team and autonomy in advancing assigned tasks. Required skills include:
- Strong foundation in control-command and automation.
- Very good knowledge of applied mathematics (dynamic systems, optimization, estimation).
- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB.
- Knowledge of C++ (syntax, compilation, essential structures).
- Good understanding of modeling and simulation principles.
- Ideally, you would have:
- Knowledge of electronics (sensors, actuators, simple schematics).
- Basic knowledge of Linux environments (shell, scripts, services).
- Interest in embedded systems, real-time, or robotics.
- Technical curiosity and a taste for experimentation.
Contractual information: Full-time, remote work, meal vouchers. Navigation under kite from the integration. At Beyond the Sea, we develop and commercialize solutions for the traction of ships by kite. We aim to make kite traction universal and indispensable for decarbonizing the maritime sector. By joining us, you will contribute to deploying our systems with clients and co-development partners in a strategic and impactful sector. Joining us means:
- Engaging in innovative and ecological projects aimed at reducing CO2 emissions in the maritime sector.
- Working within a multidisciplinary and passionate team, gaining varied and enriching experience.
- Participating in ambitious initiatives and developing your professional skills.
Beyond the Sea values innovation, collaboration, and respect for the environment, offering a pleasant and stimulating work environment.
