Position Summary:

The Vice President, Investor Relations (IR) is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company's global investor relations strategy. Reporting to the CFO, this individual serves as the primary interface between the company and the investment community.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy, including building a clear and differentiated investment thesis aligned with company's long-term strategy
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, and key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the investment community
  • Lead investor targeting efforts and manage shareholder base evolution
  • Lead participation in investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, analyst days, and key opinion leader (KOL) events
  • Lead Earnings call prep and external disclosures in line with IR strategy and investment thesis, including:
    • Investor presentations, earnings release, conference call scripts and other supporting materials
    • Prepare CEO, CFO, and leadership team for earnings calls, investor meetings, and conferences
    • Develop briefing materials, Q&A documents, and messaging frameworks
    • Annual reports and shareholder communications
    • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Communications to ensure compliance with SEC and Reg FD requirements
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and peer performance
  • Analyze sell-side models, investor feedback, and market dynamics
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform strategy
  • Maintain and periodically update investor relations website and branding materials
  • Prepare or review SEC filings
  • Oversee scheduling and logistics related to investor conferences, meetings, office visits and roadshows
  • Assist with ad-hoc business analytics
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required - MBA or other business qualification preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive investor experience, preferably in public healthcare or diagnostic companies strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, valuation, and investor behavior
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and storytelling skills
  • Sharp mind with strong analytical and numeric skills, proficient in financial modeling and analysis
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Desire and ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to simplify complex scenarios into clear investor messaging

Travel: Up to 30%
