About the Role
Field - Pump Operator
Work Location:
The physical location for this position is at any jobsite, which could be in any state. The ability to travel and adapt to different job sites is essential. Job sites may vary based on project requirements, and operators must be prepared to work in various geographical locations and conditions.
Role:
The role requires technical skills to operate, maintain, and perform light repair functions on equipment designed to deliver concrete to trucks, directly to the location of the excavated drill shaft and/or any other specific locations.
This role requires individuals who are alert, have good balance, stamina, and physical strength. The work environment is exclusively outdoors, often exposing workers to all weather conditions and varied ground conditions.
Position Requirements:
Manage concrete pump and deliver piping to ensure concrete is place accurately, minimizing waste and structural issues.
Ability of placing, vibrating, spreading, and finishing wet concrete involving drilled shaft foundations concreted using pumping methods
Ability to patch and rub concrete with required craft tool
Maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns
Collaborate with the project mechanic to effect repairs that are more difficult and require assistance from other mechanics
Responsible of coordinating with other construction team members to achieve smooth and timely concrete delivery
Tools to Be Furnished by Employee:
Steel-toed work boots
Long sleeve shirt
Suitable work pants with no holes
25-foot tape measure
12-inch adjustable wrench
Items Furnished by the Company:
Hard hat
Work gloves
Safety glasses
Safety vest
Hearing protection
Fall protection
Any other personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the job
