This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Services Sales Solutions Senior Manager / Director – Public Sector based in Canada.

In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor at the intersection of sales, consulting, and executive engagement, helping public sector organizations define and accelerate their transformation into AI-driven, digitally enabled enterprises.You will shape the "why" behind complex transformation programs, guiding executive stakeholders through vision-setting, business case development, and outcome-driven roadmaps.Operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, you will partner closely with sales teams to accelerate deal cycles, increase win rates, and ensure solutions are both compelling and executable.

You will lead pre-sales discovery, facilitate executive workshops, and translate complex requirements into clear, value-based implementation strategies.This role requires strong cross-functional orchestration across technical, commercial, and delivery teams to align on scalable solutions.Your impact will be measured by pipeline influence, deal acceleration, and the quality of transformation narratives you help bring to life.This is a highly visible position where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution in support of mission-critical public sector initiatives.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead pre-sales solutioning and strategic advisory efforts for public sector customers, acting as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders and internal sales teams. You will drive the creation of compelling transformation narratives and ensure that complex deals are structured for both commercial success and delivery feasibility.

  • Lead strategic pre-sales engagements, including discovery sessions, "Vision to Value" workshops, and executive alignment discussions
  • Partner with account executives to shape deal strategy, solution design, and commercial positioning
  • Translate customer objectives into clear, outcome-based roadmaps, business cases, and implementation approaches
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams including architects, strategists, and subject matter experts to validate solutions
  • Drive early qualification of opportunities and apply disciplined go/no-go decision-making to prioritize high-value deals
  • Develop scalable pre-sales assets, frameworks, and reusable tools to accelerate deal velocity
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with delivery capabilities, mitigating risk and supporting smooth transition to implementation teams
  • Contribute to pipeline growth, booking acceleration, and customer satisfaction through high-impact advisory work
Requirements

This role requires extensive experience in enterprise consulting and pre-sales leadership, ideally within cloud, SaaS, or digital transformation environments. You bring strong commercial acumen, deep solutioning expertise, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex sales cycles.

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise consulting, professional services, or solution architecture roles
  • 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Proven track record in pre-sales leadership, including discovery, solution design, estimation, and SOW creation
  • Strong experience supporting complex, multi-cloud, or large-scale transformation deals
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level and executive stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation skills for leading workshops, strategy sessions, and deal clinics
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies and ability to translate business needs into technical and functional solutions
  • Strong commercial acumen, including deal structuring, pricing strategy, and negotiation support
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and executive-level presentations
  • Analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Experience mentoring or leading cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce) are strongly preferred
