About the Role

Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support financial systems and payment processing initiatives within an Order-to-Cash environment. This role will focus on inbound customer payments, accounts receivable, reconciliation, cash controls, operational risk, and payment fraud prevention.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with both business and IT stakeholders, gathering and documenting requirements, managing multiple projects, and driving process improvements that enhance system accuracy, efficiency, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial systems projects related to inbound customer payments, accounts receivable, reconciliation, cash controls, and payment processing
Partner with business stakeholders, IT/development teams, finance, operations, and risk teams to gather and document requirements
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance financial system performance, accuracy, security, and operational efficiency
Manage multiple concurrent projects, including timelines, risks, dependencies, priorities, and deliverables
Support testing, UAT, defect resolution, implementation readiness, and ongoing system support
Help ensure payment processing and financial modules are operating effectively with proper controls in place
Support initiatives related to payment fraud mitigation, operational risk, cash controls, and timely payment posting
Communicate project updates, risks, issues, and key decisions to cross-functional stakeholders
Use tools such as Jira, Jira Align, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms to support project delivery, requirements documentation, and productivity
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of Project Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Business Project Management experience
Experience working with both business and IT/technical development stakeholders
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash, accounts receivable, inbound payments, reconciliation, cash controls, or payment processing
Ability to gather, document, and communicate business requirements clearly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, stakeholder management, and follow-through skills
Self-driven with the ability to lead cross-functional teams from ideation through completion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with payment fraud prevention or operational risk
Knowledge of card, ACH, or alternative payment methods
Familiarity with PCI standards, NACHA guidelines, or payment compliance concepts
Experience working in Agile environments
Experience with Jira, Jira Align, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools
