Genesis10 is currently seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst - Hybrid for a 6+ month contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This position will work on a hybrid schedule.
Hourly Rate: $21.37 per hour
This role supports the execution of mandatoryand voluntary corporate action custody processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for announcing events, handling maturities, dividend and interest payments, and managing event records. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, addressing client inquiries, and performing daily reconciliations for cash, security, and suspense transactions.
Primary Responsibilities: - Process basic mandatory and voluntary corporate action claims
- Process and allocate claim payments and follow up with brokers for statuses
- Reconcile, monitor, and post entitlements to client accounts
- Perform daily reconciliations for cash, security, and suspense transactions
- Adhere to established quality control measures and procedures
- Research and respond to inquiries from internal business groups, depositories, agents, brokers, and clients
Requirements: - High School/secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel with VLOOKUP functions
Desired Skills: - Bachelor's degree
- 1.5 to 2 years of total work experience
- Experience in financial services processing and corporate actions
